EXTERNAL DOORS

At FGF Joinery, we manufacture quality solid timber joinery including external doors. We manufacture to order, so what we can do is only limited to your budget and imagination.

We can manufacture the external doors only and/or a jambset to suit, hang the doors in the jambset on hinges, supply and fit rebated mortice locks and hardware, supplying a product that ready to be installed - all that is left to do is install and paint or stain.

Common configurations are single light, 8 light, Victorian Base, Victorian base margin light.

PLEASE NOTE: All joinery is supplied in RAW timber finish and must be sealled immediately after delivery.

Horizontal T&G VJ

1/ Horizontal Tongue & Groove VJ panel external door. External face of door as shown has full face of T&G VJ. Internal face has lockrail for added structure and fitment of mortice lock.

T&G VJ doors are not recommended where high weather exposure exists due to the expansion and contraction of the VJ boards. This constant reaction of the timber can result in distortion of the door itself impead proper functionality. Please consult us if you are in doubt before considering this type of door.
